Adding Products

Products are the items you sell to customers. They can be created manually or automatically when you mark Stack fields as “billable.”

Automatic Product Creation

The easiest way to create products:
  1. Go to Home Page → Stack Configuration
  2. Edit a field in your Stack
  3. Enable the Billable checkbox
  4. Set a Default Unit Rate
  5. Choose a Billing Model (per user, per device, or flat)
The product is automatically created and linked to that Stack field.

Manual Product Creation

To create products manually:
  1. Navigate to Settings → Products
  2. Click Add Product
  3. Fill in the product details:
    • Product name
    • Description
    • Unit price
    • Billing model

Using Products in Contracts

When adding line items to customer contracts, you select products from your catalog. The product’s default pricing is used but can be overridden per contract.
